this is a BEAUTIFUL cake!!! But i am a newby with fondant and all that..So i really dont get how to make a cake like this are these the steps? 1st make the cake 2nd ice it (could i use any kind of icing like pilsberry icing? or does it have to be like homemade icing?) then let it chill for a while then do the fondant?
mayen…magandang araw saiyo..sabi ko na nga ba magkababayan tayo eh…i’ve been watching your videos and the only thing that i can say is wow ang galing mo naman…i was inspired by your videos…thanks a lot…i learned a lot from your videos..
the leaves are the medium sized and the smallest sized cutter from the wilton set… costs less than dollars i think- for the set the stems- i used a sugacraft gun to squeeze out the fondant in that diameter. you can also use royal icing for that if you want.
I love, love, LOVE your cakes! You are such an inspiration. I have just started dabbling in fondant, and am addicted!!! I love watching your videos, and have gotten so many tips. So, thank you!!! One ques….how did you make the leaves and stems? Do you have a template? So Beautiful!
I used 20 guage craft wires–threaded the crystals — and bent it to the shape I wanted. I used smaller guage wires to secure the parts where wires cross by winding it up on those parts. remember to leave enough wire to make it stand on the cake
very beautiful great ideas
It looks really really good. I ll have to try something like that one day.
That is such a beautiful cake….did u take any classes to make cakes bc this cake looks so beautifully decorated.
