But i am a newby with fondant and all that..So i really dont get how to make a cake like this are these the steps? 1st make the cake 2nd ice it (could i use any kind of icing like pilsberry icing? or does it have to be like homemade icing?) then let it chill for a while then do the fondant?

the leaves are the medium sized and the smallest sized cutter from the wilton set… costs less than dollars i think- for the set
the stems- i used a sugacraft gun to squeeze out the fondant in that diameter. you can also use royal icing for that if you want.

great job. I realy like the way that the chocolate fondant leaves breaks the horizon of the tiers. it give it a great 3d effect. great job.

Thanks! took me about two days… i worked on it on and off… to make it easier, I made the leaved first to have them dry …

  24. 09165067633 says:

I used 20 guage craft wires–threaded the crystals — and bent it to the shape I wanted. I used smaller guage wires to secure the parts where wires cross by winding it up on those parts. remember to leave enough wire to make it stand on the cake
